we finally left the St Lucie lock campground docks and are back at Sunset Bay in Stuart...beautiful weather here...!

we have moved from the Stuart mooring field to the campground docks at the St Lucie Lock about 6 miles away to do a few projects on the boat...nice and quiet here...

only two boats here right now...

back in Stuart, Florida

...after a six day trip from Green Cove Springs, Fl, we are now on a mooring in Stuart, Fl for the next couple of weeks...and the weather is great...mid 70's....

back in the water...finally!

...back in the water after being in the boatyard over 3 months and many projects....we'll be at the pier for a bit to clean up the boat, make sure things still work, and wait for a bit of warmer weather to head south...

well, here we are, still in Reynolds Park Yacht Center, hauled out, finishing up the last of the big projects...the bimini hardtop...it goes slow, with short days and cold weather...soon though we should be headed south...wishing everyone the best of adventures in the coming New Year..!!!

Still Hauled out in Green Cove Springs...

...we are still on the hard at Reynolds Yacht center in Green Cove Springs, Fl...done are: new Doris Fish on bows, water tank rework and deck fills, new fuel tank, new rubrails, outdrive maintenance, new exhaust elbow, external field alternator and regulator, thruhull for galley seawater, and small things too numerous to mention;  still a few more projects to complete...hard bimini top, bottom paint, outboard maintenance, etc, etc.....another couple of weeks and then headed down south...it is getting cold here....!!

now we are hauled out for many projects...new rubrail, new fuel tank, galley salt water thruhull, deck water tank fills, outdrive maintenance, hard bimini, fresh bottom paint, and other things we don't even know we have to do...!!...we barely fit in the travel lift at Holland Marine...

s/v Grace, with Doris, George, and Alice the cat, are presently in Reynolds Park Yacht center in Green Cove Springs, about 25 miles south of Jacksonville, fl.  we will probably be here for the summer hurricane season, work on the boat, and haul the boat to work on the outdrive and bottom...

we are here in Stuart, Florida for another couple of weeks, then probably on to Jacksonville, Florida for the summer hurricane season...

we have made it to Bimini...on to Florida in the next few days...George's computer has died so no position reporting or pictures until it gets fixed or replaced...:-(

Georgetown, Bahamas

we made it to Georgetown, Bahamas...awaiting delivery of water pump for
the engine on friday, will probably stay until the end of the month to
see the Family Island Regatta, then begin to head north...

well, here we are in Warderick Wells in the Exuma Park system in the Bahamas.  Internet has been pretty limited but check our position to see where we are, which is updated by radio whenever we move to a new place.

Back in Charleston...

...just a short post, we made it to Charleston from Deltaville, Va.  This was a slow trip down the waterway, adverse winds and weather keeping us in some anchorages for days...some pictures upcoming as we have good internet access here.

just a quick note to say we made it through storm Irene with only lots of pine needles and small branchlets on the decks...the boatyard here never lost power...

Hauled out in Deltaville...just in time for storm Irene...

well...two weeks ago we hauled out in Deltaville, Virginia to work on the boat...and be out of hurricane country down south...now we are right in the path of Irene...!!  the Deltaville Boatyard has been hauling boats for days and is now packed with boats.  We have stripped off canvas and sails and tied things down.  Now we must just wait to see how bad it will get...here are some pictures of deltaville and some pictures of our trip north from Florida...
